Sue-Ann Wynter-Notoma
Born on the beautiful tropical island of Jamaica and raised in the greatest city in the world NYC, Sue has a seasoned palate to cultivate any wedding. She is an avid traveler who enjoys learning about different cultures. Sue is also a pediatric cancer survivor who advocates for the importance of celebrating life’s priceless and precious moments, hence her passion for planning celebrations.
Sue planned her first party at the age of 17 for her friend's mom. Shortly after, she was crowned the neighborhood Party planner for family and friends. Her passion grew for planning events while being a student event coordinator in college with her best friend and now business partner Shameeka. After graduating college they frequently talked about how they could uniquely showcase their event planning talent while giving back to those need. While working for a Fortune 500 company Sue was tasked with planning and executing onsite and offsite events. Grad school allowed Sue to become a Master at crafting solutions. This enhanced her ability to deliver more flawless events.
When Sue planned her wedding, she turned her venue into an enchanted tropical fairytale, where she included components of Jamaican and Nigerian traditions. Her Jamaican roots were seen in the cocktail hour in the food, decor, and music from the steel pan player. She infused her wedding reception with a Nigerian ceremony which included custom attire and traditional dancing. Whether you know or don’t know what you want your special day to look and feel like, Sue can help you define, create, and deliver the wedding you always dreamed of. She is a natural Visionary.

Shameka R. Davis
A Native New Yorker with a love for food, style & opulence. Shameka is an Aquarius who is true to her sign of being creative & unique. Her favorite mythical creature is a unicorn, which explains it all. She loves to travel & experience new cultures. She always thinks outside of the box which makes everything she does one of a kind.
At an early age, Shameka always strived to do things on her own, very independent. As early as 8 years old, she threw her first surprise party for her mother. She delegated tasks & duties to her family & friends to do the things needed to pull off a successful event. To everyone's delight, she became the official coordinator for family functions such as showers, parties & family reunions.
In college, Shameka met her best friend Sue-Ann where they both were student ambassadors & events coordinators for all of the school's functions. That is where the birth of Double S Event Planners took place. Upon graduation, the two honed in on their creativity & focused on creating beautiful memories for others on their special day. So rest assured you will be in great hands when the the two of yours isn't enough.
